A Fresh Start Chapter 1/part 1: Los Angeles
I looked out of the plane window as we left Montana. I started to shed a tear as I thought of my friends that I would probably never see again. I miss my horse, Nelly. She was my best friend. Although I probably won't see her again either. My dad's job requires moving alot, so this isn't very new to me. Our next city: Los Angeles.
Finally the plane landed, and we got to the house. It was pretty big, and it was right on the beach. After I finished packing, I decided to go to the beach and meet some new people. I put on a purple tank top and some jean shorts. I put my wavy medium brown hair down. When I walked out the door, I heard some music. I went to explore the new sound, to find that it was coming from my neighbor's garage. I looked inside to find a boy with short brown hair playing guitar, a girl with long blond hair and blue eyeliner on drums, a girl with goregous red hair on keyboard, and a boy with blond hair on bass. I walked into the garage when they stopped playing.
"Hey, my name is Quinn. I just moved in next door," I said, "You guys sound really good,"
"Thanks!" said the blonde guy on bass, "I'm Brian, I live here. So your the one from Montana right?"
"Yeah thats me." I said.
"Hey, I'm Hayley," Said the blonde girl playing the drums, "I'm Brian's twin sister."
"I'm Jessica," said the girl playing the keyboard.
"I'm Ross," said the guy on guitar.
"What kind of music do you guys play?"
"Indie/alternative," said Brian, " You wouldn't happen to sing, would you? We're looking for a singer..."
"I guess I could try..."
I sang Quiet Little Voices by We were promised jetpacks.
"Whoa, your awesome!" said Ross. The others nodded their heads in agreement.
"Welcome to the band!" Hayley said.
