Chapter 13
When I woke up I knew it was going to be a bad day. I didn't even bother trying to look pretty. I put my hair up in a high ponytail, and wore some skinny jeans, with a simple gray top. I didn't put makeup, I just left the house with my dad, I didn't care anymore. "Bye Dad, thanks for the lift," I slammed the door to my dads car and entered the school. I made a right to get to my locker, there was Jason, waiting for me. I was in awe, I didn't know what to say, or do.
Me:What are you doing here?
Jason: What the hell happened last night?
Me: I was tired, so I fell asleep.
Jason: Before then. He sounded very upset.
Me: I dont know what you're talking about. I wasn't making eye contact.
Jason: Cut the bullshit.
Me: Do you want me to be honest?
Jason: Thats all I ask.
Me: EMILY HAPPENED!
Jason: What?
Me: God, you don't get it.
Jason: No, I don't.
Could he be that clueless?
Me: Forget it.
I started to walk away, then he pulled me back.
Jason: No, I won't.
Me: It's not like a matter to you anyway.
Jason: You do matter.
Me: No I don't. I was starting to tear, but I was tried to hold it in, I didn't want him to see me.
Jason: Please just te-
Me: -Just let me go. Please. I looked up at him, and all of a sudden he let go. And that's when I knew that he saw the pain and sorrow in my eyes. I rushed to washroom, closed the stall and started crying. Once I was done, I dried my eyes, and left for Economy. The beginning of the day just started, and it was already horrible.
"Psstt, Amanda," I said. "Wake me up before class is done." She nodded and I dozed off. However I was awoken by the teacher. It was during lunch and she saw that I was still in class. She poked me on my back and I jumped up. "Hello Carey." "Oh, Hi miss.." "Do you love my class that much?" "I'm sorry, it won't happen again. I've just got a lot on my plate right now." "Oh, want to speak about it?" "No, I'd rather not." "Oh I see." "No Ms. Its just, I'm not the type of person to vent with anybody." "You know, if you don't let anything out, your plate will just get more and more full." "I know, thanks miss." "Goodbye Carey," she said with a smile. I was going to kill Amanda! I was super upset!
After school Adora ran up to me and gave me a hug.
Adora: Hey! Coming?
Me: Where to?
Adora: Shopping!
Me: Actually, I'd rather just go home.
Adora: Oh.
Me: No, no. I'm just really tired. I sort of want to take a nap.
Adora: Alright then. It's only Ramiro and I anyway.
Me: Oh?
Adora: Yeah, Janna is sick, and Jason wanted to talk to this girl.
Me: Oh. Well I should go
I like him so much. What do I do. Please someone help me.
