chapter 3
*jack's p.o.v*
Myah had her arms wrapped around my waist and my left arm draped over her shoulder. Finally. I've been waiting years to tell her how I felt. How I thought she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. How I was hopelessly in love with her.
"Hey," I suggested, "let's go to the photobooth."
"But Jack, I have makeup smeared everywhere. I look terrible. I don't ever want you to see me like this again."
"Shh." I put one finger over her mouth. "You've never looked so beautiful."
Her petite mouth curled into a smile. "You're perfect." She said.
"Not as perfect as you." I kissed her forehead as she crinkled her nose. "So come on, here's the photobooth." I dragged her in and sat her down on my lap.
"Can I at least wipe off my makeup before we do this?"
"Fine. Since you won't believe me about how perfect you are." I acted like I was pouting.
"Jack Bassam Barakat, you're not going to get me with that fake pouting crap."
"Whatever. At least let me help you." I took a tissue out of her hand and wiped away the evidence of her tears.
"Now I don't have ANY makeup on! Jack! I look terrible!" Myah whined.
"You look stunning. Beyond perfect. In fact, don't ever wear makeup again."
She looked over at me and her blue eyes shined. "I love you." She whispered.
"I love you, too." I said as I leaned in and kissed her.
*myah's p.o.v*
Jack pulled me into the photobooth with him, even though I really didn't want to. I still had makeup smeared all over my face. But, if Jack was happy, then okay. He dragged me onto his lap and smiled his perfect smile at me.
"Can I at least wipe off my makeup before we do this?" I whined. I just wanted to wipe off the mascara and eyeliner on my cheeks. The rest was fine.
Jack started his fake whining crap. Why does he do this to me? He's so cute when he does, and I don't know how long I can stay somewhat strong. "Fine. Since you won't believe me about how perfect you are." He pouted.
"Jack Bassam Barakat, you're not going to get me with that fake pouting crap." I had to stay strong this time.
"Whatever. At least let me help you." He said as he took a tissue from my hand. He's so sweet. After he wiped my face, I checked how I looked in the photobooth's screen.
"Now I don't have ANY makeup on! Jack! I look terrible!"
"You look stunning. Beyond perfect. In fact, don't ever wear makeup again."
God, he was so perfect. "I love you." I said softly as I looked over at him.
He smiled, "I love you, too." He said before leaning in to kiss me.
