Dead in her mind, and cold to the bone.
She opened her eyes, and saw she was alone.
She put her hands over her face, and silently screamed.
Then closed her eyes, and began to dream.
She dreamt of his face, his touch and his smile.
That's when she realized he made life worthwhile.
Without him around, she was alone and scared.
Her world was lifeless, and nobody cared.
A part of her was missing, just like she must die.
