I have a fair amount of clothes but I only wear like 5% of it and it looks like I have none and I refuse to wear the other 95% because I look ugly in them

In one of my classes, there's a really sweet girl named Jessica who is disabled. She has to use a wheel chair and be assisted by an aid and has a hard time articulating in class. The kids in my class usually stare at her like she's some sort of alien whenever she tries to speak or answer a question in class.
But today, one of the girls in my class stood up, walked across the room, and sat next to her, and started talking to Jessica. She talked to her like she was a real person, instead of some "weird" girl.
And I just thought that was one of the nicest things I've ever seen.

Today one of my best friends gave me a present for my birthday. And it was probably the best present I have ever recieved. It had the most meaning and thought than any present that anyone ever gave me.
She gave me a jar, filled with inspirational quotes on pieces of paper. It's dedicated for those days when I'm feeling down, to remind me that I'll always have strength, and friends, even on my weakest days.
This is kind of a useless quote, but I just want to thank you Caitlin for giving me that present. It really has truly made me happy, and I plan on using it. A lot.

Maybe it was the gloomy weather. Maybe it was the timing. Or maybe it was the look of despair on everyone’s faces that day, which just made it so sad. It was an awful kind of sadness. It wasn’t like losing your favorite sweater or failing your history test. It was the type of sadness that could tear your heart into a million little pieces, or torment your mind with a thousand questions left unanswered. ‘Why did this have to happen?’ was at the top of my list. It was a feeling much worse than anything I had ever experienced before. It was as if someone had shot a bullet through my chest, and I struggled to put the pieces back together. There were always parts of me that were never complete anymore, there were places and people and songs that made the bad memories flood back into my thoughts, and there was a constant sadness in the back of my mind that always brought me back to this event. And this was the death of one great little boy, whom I’ll never forget.

This was the intro of my essay that I wrote at the beginning of the year, about one of my close friends who passed away. Just decided I would post it on here. This isn't meant to be artsy or anything. It's an essay. So there you go.
