Jesus Christ conquered death. Spiritual and physical death. He suffered for my sins, my sorrows, my shortcomings. He did so to grant us healing, understanding, and comfort because He loves us. He lives again and because of Him‬ we will too.
what's so frustrating about things like anxiety or depression is everyone is always under the impression that the people who suffer from it should change their behavior or thinking in order to adapt to the world around them. rarely is any responsibility placed on the people who don’t suffer from any of these things. it’s just always assumed that the person suffering from any type of mental illness is the one who needs to change or to adapt, whereas no one else is expected to change their ways of thinking in order to be more understanding, educated or helpful to those who aren’t like them. it’s unfair and quite honestly tremendously unproductive. mental illness is just that — it’s an illness. so instead of telling someone all the ways in which they need to change, start asking them ways in which you can help them feel more comfortable.
“ The thought of you is ever present. Somedays it is faint and small, like a whisper in the dark, and others, unbearable, like nails screeching down a chalkboard. But whatever the case, you are always on my mind — every day, every hour, every minute. —Beau Taplin ”

"Remember the time you said, 'Son, it'll be alright'? Remember the time you said, 'Son, it will be just fine'? Well, I'm waiting for the day that my mind says it's had enough And I pray that day comes soon so I can finally feel loved"

"Remember the time I said, 'God, I'm ready to die'? Remember the time I said, 'God, just take my life'? Remember the time that I cried every single night And every thought about myself was out of spite?"
